LinkedIn for BlackBerry v1.0 Debuts; Toronto Office Coming

LinkedIn released LinkedIn for BlackBerry v1.0, which is compatible with Tour, Curve, and Bold devices running Blackberry OS v4.3 or later. The professional networking site said LinkedIn for BlackBerry v1.0 was designed from scratch for the BlackBerry platform, and it features six modules: Network Updates, Search, Connections, Invitations, Messages, and Reconnect. LinkedIn also announced that it surpassed the 2 million-member mark in Canada, being used by companies including KPMG, Research in Motion, and Royal Bank of Canada, adding that it is in the process of establishing an office in Toronto. LinkedIn product manager for mobile products Chad Whitney offered further details on LinkedIn for BlackBerry v1.0 in a post on the LinkedIn Blog: LinkedIn for BlackBerry is a continuation of our efforts to help you leverage the power of your professional network anywhere, anytime.
