LinkedIn Expanding Staff, Expands Board
LinkedIn announced that it will expand its staff by more than 350 employees, bringing its total to more than 850 by year-end, focusing on engineering, product development, sales, and international customer growth.
The professional networking site also announced the appointment of A. George “Skip” Battle to its board of directors. Andersen Consulting veteran Battle, former chairman and CEO of Ask Jeeves, serves on several other boards including those of Expedia, Netflix, OpenTable, and Workday.
