You may remember Mobli as the visual social media platform that Leonardo DiCaprio invested in back in October, that has also attracted big names like Paris Hilton, David Arquette and more. This week, Mobli is adding another big star to their roster, announcing a new partnership with seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong.
Armstrong said in a press release, “When I was first introduced to Mobli, I immediately thought it was an extraordinary platform and an innovative yet accessible way for different audiences to share their stories. I’m excited to use Mobli as a direct channel for my social media followers to get a personal look at my experiences day to day.”
Fans can now subscribe to Lance Armstrong’s personal feed on Mobli, where he will be sharing exclusive photos and videos from his life. Armstrong will also be joining Mobli’s Board of Advisors, along with his long-time agent and founder of Capital Sports & Entertainment Bill Stapleton. On a side note, best-selling author and Kellogg professor Andrew Razeghi will also be joining Mobli’s board of advisors.
Mobli CEO Moshiko Hogeg says, “Lance Armstrong is an icon and a truly inspiring individual to people all over the world. Lance has shown us that nothing is impossible and it is that spirit that we have adopted at Mobli. As a social media pioneer, Lance was one of the first people to reach one million followers on Twitter, and his vote of confidence in joining Mobli’s advisory board means a lot to us. We are so excited to be working with him. We look forward to the exciting updates that Lance will be sharing via Mobli, and to enabling his fans to see the world through his eyes.”
Are you using Mobli yet? What do you think? Will you be subscribing to Lance Armstrong’s updates?
