Kobo Books Now Available Through Walmart Canada
Kobo has partnered with Walmart Canada and is now a featured partner on walmart.ca. Under the terms of the agreement, Walmart Canada customers can access the entire Kobo library directly from the Walmart site. Walmart already carries the Kobo eReader in its stores and on walmart.ca, so this complements the offering.
In March, Kobo secured financing from Fidelity Investments with additional funds provided by Kobo investors Indigo and Cheung Kong holdings.
The eBook company has been expanding its partnerships with retailers.
