Ever wondered exactly which posts made your Klout score go up? Your days of wondering are over. Starting today Klout shows you your most influential moments from the last 90 days with the new ‘Your Moments’ feature.
Last month, Klout launched a major update, making Klout scores more accurate and transparent. Klout CEO and co-founder Joe Fernandez explained, “This is the most comprehensive and accurate model we’ve ever released. We’re now incorporating over 400 signals from seven networks. We’re measuring over 12 billion inputs per day, compared to only 1 billion in our last update.”
Additionally, back in August when Klout announced the “new Klout” they also announced that they had new features coming soon that would provide a little more insight into which content was responsible for raising your Klout. Enter ‘Your Moments.’
With Your Moments you can check out your most influential moments over the past three months. See the posts, along with the people that engaged with them. You can sort Your Moments by network, hide moments from your profile and more.
You can also view your friends’ Klout profiles to see their most influential moments. Note that Klout has taken privacy into consideration, so only people who had access to viewing the original posts will be able to see them on Klout.
The rest of your Klout profile has gotten an upgrade as well. Head over to Klout.com to check out your own most influential moments, and the new profile layout.
Personally I think Your Moments is a pretty nifty new feature, though I wish it went back further than 90 days. It would be cool if it compiled your most influential posts of all time so you could take a trip down memory lane to see what sort of content you were digging last year or the year before and who was engaging with it. Maybe we’ll see this in the future, eh, Klout?
Mary Long of All Twitter, one of our sibling blogs, took a look at the new features last week. Check our her post here and find out more on the official Klout blog and let us know what you think. What were some of your most influential Klout moments?
