Mobile backend provider Kii has announced the beta release of its newest technology, KiiReferral. The SDK allows developers to increase downloads by making their apps more viral among social media users on Twitter, Facebook and more. By implementing the KiiReferral platform, developers give users the option of sharing their favorite apps with their friends on social media, and can reward the users for doing so.
KiiReferral offers sharing statistics and click / conversion figures in real time. When users share a message about an app, these can be customized, and can support rewards when new users download apps using those referral links. That is, when a friend downloads a game based on a KiiReferral link, the original user may receive bonus points, unlock extra features and so on. This incentivizes conversions, and, in theory, will increase the number of times these referral links are shared, as users work to unlock more free items.
Currently available on iOS, KiiReferral can be implemented in a few lines of code, while campaigns and referral links can be created from the platform’s developer portal. More information is available on Kii’s website.
