Kamcord secures $7.1 million for expansion of mobile gameplay recording platform

Mobile gameplay recording platform Kamcord has secured $7.1 million in Series A funding in a round led by TransLink Capital. The round included participation from existing investors including Innovation Works and XG Ventures, and was joined by Japanese investors DeNA, KLab and M&Y Growth Partners. This funding will be used to further the develop of Kamcord’s mobile gameplay recording technology and standalone video viewing app.

The Kamcord SDK supports both iOS and Android, and allows users to share their best gameplay moments with others.
