Journalist's iPad, iPhone, Laptop Hacked Through iCloud
Journalist Mat Honan had his iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air wiped out after a hacker gained access to his iCloud account and wiped it all out. The hacker also wiped out his Gmail account and hacked into his Twitter account, as well as Gizmodo’s Twitter account (Honan had once used it on his phone).
Honan became suspicious after a number of signals — his phone went dead, his iCloud password wasn’t accepted after a relaunch, his laptop told him that his Gmail message was wrong, and his iPad password had been reset unbeknownst to him.
