In an interview with AllFacebook parent mediabistro, which will run next week, Vargas expressed his gratitude over having Facebook Co-Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his FWD.us political-advocacy group as allies.

To me right now, this is a moment of allies. How do we get more allies to join our movement? And the fact that Mark Zuckerberg is one of our allies is, to me, a testament to kind of the broad coalition we are building to get something done.
