Janet Robinson: The New York Times Will Print 'For Many Many Years to Come'

Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia XVIII conference in New York, The New York Times Co. CEO Janet Robinson emphasized both her company’s multiplatform commitment and its commitment to print, AllThingsD reported.

Robinson said The New York Times Co. is a “multiplatform” brand, citing its entry into platforms including the Web, the iPhone, and the iPad, but she stressed that print remains in the company’s plans, saying that it accounts for 75 percent of its revenues and adding, “It’s very clear that our print business is a very profitable business, and we will be printing The New York Times for many many years to come,” according to AllThingsD.
