iPad Vs. Paperback

Michael Grothaus of TUAW wanted to figure out definitively which offers the better reading experience: an iPad or a paperback book. He decided he’d try reading the same book on both mediums.

He awards points to iPad for things like this: “One thing I love about ebooks on the iPad is the in-text dictionary look-up feature. This is something the iPad will always have as an advantage over traditional paperbacks.”

But, it’s got many downsides: “I was always tempted to navigate away to check an email, browse the web, or look for another book on the iBookstore.
