The iPad Air Ships Today
Apple has begun shipping iPad Air devices today to people who preordered last month. The company has described their latest tablet as “the lightest full-sized tablet in the world.”
The 9.7 inch tablet weighs one pound about half of the last model, and and is 20 percent thinner than previous models at 7.5mm. It has an A7 chip inside the same chip in the iPhone 5S. It is 72x faster than the first generation. The new device supports 1080p HD video and an 5MP iSight camera.
