iOS 6’s Wi-Fi Plus Cellular feature allows apps to switch to 3G when Wi-Fi fails

Appleinsider reports that that a new feature in iOS 6 will automatically revert to a 3G connection whenever a Wi-Fi connection is slow or unresponsive, allowing important data and apps to keep synching.

The feature is found under General, Cellular systems settings in the latest iOS 6 beta. If the feature makes it to final release in its current form, users will be able set their iPhone to automatically revert to cellular data to keep iCloud documents, iTunes purchases and more synched.
