International iPad Launch Delayed Due to High US Demand

Apple announced today that it will delay the international launch of the iPad by one month, until the end of May, due to high demand in the initial US launch that has caused the company to run short of iPads. Apple will being taking pre-orders internationally on May 10.

Here's an excerpt from the official press release: “Faced with this surprisingly strong US demand, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the international launch of iPad by one month, until the end of May.
