Businesses aren’t maximizing Facebook’s viral marketing capabilities when opening shops on the social network.
So says VendorShop, a maker of virtual storefronts used by thousands of merchants. In a survey of 250 users jointly conducted with Dublin City University, VendorShop found that a Facebook like doubles a person’s willingness to purchase something from a store on the social network.
