Facebook continued to dominate social logins in the second quarter of 2014, accounting for 55 percent of overall social logins and 64 percent of social logins from mobile devices, according to the latest figures from Preferred Marketing Developer and consumer-management provider Gigya.

Google Plus was a distant second in both of those categories, at 27 percent overall and 25 percent for mobile.
Facebook was also No. 1 in the categories Gigya chose to break out:
- Education/nonprofit, 79 percent
- E-commerce, 75 percent
- Travel/hospitality, 70 percent
- Consumer brands, 67 percent
- Media/publishers, 49 percent
