There are Facebook posts by friends that make you feel good, and there are others that, well, make you feel maybe not so good. Tech content aggregator TechHive rated the reactions to different types of posts in its Facebook Misery Index infographic.

TechHive cited a study by Humboldt University in Berlin, which found that Facebook makes users envious of their friends, and “humblebrags” and “excessive gratitude” were the top culprits; and another study by the University of Michigan, which found that many younger Facebook users are depressed due to “too much information” and relationship status updates.
