MediaNama shared the screenshot below, saying that it saw the following notice while attempting to access the Internet.org site via Wi-Fi in India:

You must be on the Reliance network to use Internet.org. If you’d like to access these websites for free, use a SIM card from Reliance.

MediaNama pointed out that Reliance Communications was the first mobile carrier in India to strike a deal with Facebook-owned messaging app WhatsApp, offering unlimited usage of WhatsApp and Facebook throughout the country for 16 rupees ($0.26)
