Facebook continued its focus on developers with its release Thursday of improved documentation for FQL and the software-development kits for iOS and Android.

The social network added in a post on its developer blog that it is working on doing the same for its graph application-programming interface and other reference documents. More from the blog post:

Over the past several months, our engineering team has been working on improving the quality of our documentation. Today, we are excited to announce that a significant portion of our reference documentation is now automatically generated from source code.

With this release, we have also revamped the documentation format and added a more intuitive navigation structure for easier browsing.
