Hulu Goes HD

For the first time, Hulu, the online video portal whose users are “happy but not numerous,” has added pure 720p high-definition videos for shows such as ‘Heroes,’ ’24,’ ’30 Rock’ and ‘The Office,’ according to AppScout. Temporarily, the videos will also be ad-free; the company didn’t say how long they’re going to keep that going, but we’ll venture a guess and say “not long.”

The report said that the HD Gallery currently includes seven full episodes from the aforementioned shows, plus Joss Whedon’s Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog starring Neil Patrick Harris, Fields of Glory, and Three Sheets.
