Head of YouTube Music Quits

Christopher LaRosa, who led the YouTube music team, is leaving the company for a startup.

Christopher LaRosa, product manager at YouTube music, is leaving the company on Friday, reports The Wall Street Journal.

People who worked closely with LaRosa described him as very talented. It is a “huge loss” said one of these people.
 
LaRosa is the second person in charge of YouTube’s music service to leave over the past 12 months. The other, Nikhil Chandhok, left last fall…

The WSJ reported that it was not clear who would lead the effort after LaRosa’s departure, which could stall its launch even further.
