Facebook’s Graph Search Results Will Now Include Posts, Status Updates

Facebook’s Graph Search just got a lot more robust, as the social network announced Monday that posts and status updates will now be part of its results, allowing users to search content including photo captions, check-ins, and comments.

Facebook’s Graph Search just got a lot more robust, as the social network announced Monday that posts and status updates will now be part of its results, allowing users to search content including photo captions, check-ins, and comments.

Users will only be able to see content that has been shared with them, which includes content from friends, as well as posts that are shared publicly.

Facebook said the enhancement to Graph Search will initially be rolled out to a small group of users, and their feedback will be incorporated as the rollout continues.

The social network said in the Newsroom post announcing the new Graph Search feature:

Search for the topics you’re interested in and see what your friends are saying, like, “Dancing with the Stars,” or, “posts about Dancing with the Stars by my friends.”
