The 55th Annual Grammy Awards are just over six weeks away, and to drum up some anticipation, The Recording Academy has launched a Twitter chat series with major female music stars.
Here’s how it works: the artists will be paired up for the tweet Q&As, and will be discussing topics like inspiration and best performances via their respective Twitter handles.
Even if you could care less about the Grammy Awards, it’s pretty cool to be able to listen in on a live chat between stars like Sheryl Crow and Reba McEntire, and even toss in your own questions.
Here’s a partial list of artists you can expect to chat with on Twitter, with more being added as the Grammys approach:
Maria Brink (In This Moment, @officialITM)
Kelly Clarkson (@kellyclarkson)
Sheryl Crow (@sherylcrow)
Sara Evans (@saraevansmusic)
Lucy Hale (@lucyhale)
Miranda Lambert (@mirandalambert)
Reba McEntire (@reba)
Bonnie McKee (@bonniemckee)
We’re kind of hoping Canadian pop star Carly Rae Jepsen will be participating in a Twitter chat – her single “Call Me Maybe” was nominated for Song of the Year, after all.
Here are a few excerpts from the chats that have already taken place:
Be sure to tune in.
