Google's New App Turns A Walk Into A 'Field Trip'

Google launched a new app today called Field Trip, which is designed as a guide to “cool, hidden, and unique things in the world around you”. The app, which uses location-based technology, gives users a field guide to their environment. TechCrunch has more: “The data is sourced from publication like Thrillist, Food Network, Eater, Cool Hunting, Arcadia and Google’s own Zagat.
