The old pastime of having a jam session in your garage has made its way to the internet. Today Google launched JAM with Chrome, an interactive web application with 19 different instruments that you can play remotely with your friends.

The old pastime of having a jam session in your garage has made its way to the internet. Today Google launched JAM with Chrome, an interactive web application with 19 different instruments that you can play remotely with your friends.

Much like the electronic keyboard from your youth, this application has both an auto play function and an “easy mode.” The difference is that you use your keypad to click on individual strings, drum pads, or keys to make the sound.
