Google's Gboard iOS Keyboard App Offers Google Search, GIFs, More

The Gboard keyboard allows users to search for information and share content directly from the keyboard.

Google released its Gboard keyboard application on iOS, allowing users to search for information and share content directly from the keyboard.

With the Gboard keyboard, users can tap the Google symbol on the top-left corner of the keyboard to open a Google search window above the keyboard. Users can search for a word or phrase, such as “weather” or “restaurants near me,” to receive a list of search results that can be pasted into the text entry field.

After searching for a word or phrase, users can filter their results to view only matching images or GIFs, which can also be shared.

In addition, the app supports emoji search, allowing users to search for specific emoji using text keywords, such as “sad” or “arrow.”
