Google Updates Currents News App
Google has updated its Google Currents app, a tool for Android devices that lets users read news from around the web.
The update includes a new user interface for scanning through categories, digital magazines and breaking news. Users can now browse digital magazines or “editions” by interests through categories such as entertainment, sports, and lifestyle, which can be organized by the user and will be grouped into a sidebar.
The design incorporates search technology into the news feed so that current events and breaking news rise to the top of the feed. Here
