Google+ Reveals Statistics and New Features at Google I/O

Google held their annual tech conference, Google I/O, yesterday and used the opportunity to announce some interesting statistics and launch a few features. These are bigger numbers than most people would have expected and negate the ideas of Google+ being a barren, desolate social network.
