Google+ Expands Its Social Login Through Identity-Management Providers

Just over a month after unrolling a Google+ social sign-in, Google announced today that hundreds more sites feature the sign-in option. Google+ login is available as an option for any website using identity-management tools peddled by Janrain and Gigya.

Google+ login is available as an option for any website using identity-management tools peddled by Janrain and Gigya.

“We already provide APKs and APIs that you can build directly into your apps. And today we’re adding even more integration options,” Seth Sternberg, director of product management for Google+, wrote on a company blog for developers.

Websites that use Janrain or Gigya services include NPR, Universal Music sites including the websites of Lady Gaga and Eminem, American Idol and Whole Foods Market.
