Google eBooks Boasts Stellar Growth
It’s been just over 6 months since Google launched its eBookstore, and yesterday it boasted of tremendous growth.
Google has added nearly 1 million more free eBooks since launch, bring the total to over 3 million free Google eBooks available in the U.S. It’s also added over 150 bookseller partners, more than doubling the 100 it had at launch. Google has also picked up another 2 thousand publishers in the past 6 months. Last but not least, installs of the Google Books apps for iOS, Android and Chrome have exceeded 2.5
