Google Burying its Unpopular Buzz Social Network

With Buzz now behind Google, the company can enjoy the triumph of more than 40 million people joining Google+ with more accomplishments in the future. Clearly, Google aspires to create great products that changes people’s lives on a daily.

Google ended the unpopular Buzz social network, which was criticized last year for quite a few privacy breaches. According to nzherald.co.nz, Google said it will kill its Buzz social networking tool in favor of young but fast-growing Google+ online community.

“In a few weeks we’ll shut down Google Buzz and the Buzz API, and focus instead on Google+. While people obviously won’t be able to create new posts after that, they will be able to view their existing content on their Google Profile, and download it using Google Takeout,” wrote in a blog by Bradley Horowitz, vice president of product for Google.
