Today a new online video startup, Glocal, has come out of beta with a mission to become the go-to site for local video online.  Glocal aims to make it easy for you to “find, watch, and share what’s important in your community.”

Glocal President Lincoln Cavalieri told Janko Roettgers of GigaOM, “Online local video doesn’t really have a space besides YouTube.”  Glocal is looking to fill that niche, featuring videos from local and national content creators that can be broken down by the whole nation, region or city so you can find the content that is most relevant and important to you.
