Geewa raises $4.2 million in funding for social and mobile game development

Facebook and mobile game developer Geewa has today announced the closing of a $4.2 million funding round, led by Springtide Ventures, member of the KKCG Group. The Czech Republic-based developer is behind games like Pool Live Tour, Age of Defenders and Munchie Mania, and will use the funding to create even more games for browser and mobile platforms.

Right now, Geewa’s plan is to release three new games in 2014, as well as support their current games with additional features and content.
