Gates, Ballmer Unfazed by Google Chrome OS

Microsoft founder Bill Gates and CEO Steve Ballmer are unfazed by the upcoming Google Chrome Operating System, with Gates comparing it to Linux in an interview with CNET and Ballmer saying during his keynote speech at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in New Orleans that Windows was a better approach than a browser-centric OS.

Both Gates and Ballmer said it was hard to really go into detail on the Google Chrome OS since it hasn’t been released yet and details from Google have been sparse.
