Games by GSN is ready to celebrate the 4th of July in its casino Facebook game, as a new, themed version of Video Bingo is now available for eager gamers. Video Bingo: The 4th in Philly offers players up to four active cards at once, and allows them to choose their bet-amount-per-card before beginning. The game is presented with a patriotic background, complete with fireworks and famous architecture, which should put players in the mood to celebrate the US holiday later this week.
After players have completed a round of Bingo, they have the option of firing a canon onto the screen. This cannon triggers free daubs on cards, which may unlock a Bingo that wasn’t present before.
Existing Games by GSN fans may recognize the gameplay here, as it builds off of that in the previous version of Video Bingo: Sparkler Sprint. As players complete games and create winning Bingo cards, they’ll receive fireworks which can be activated to collect in-game collection items. For instance, players need to collect three items in the “Philadelphia” collection to receive 250,000 tokens.
Players who won fireworks during the Sparkler Sprint event can use them for prizes in this new version of the game, marking the first time two limited edition versions of Video Bingo have been linked together both in theme and in function.
Finally, Fred the bald eagle (named after the game’s designer) will give players extra help while playing, by daubing numbers on multiple Bingo cards. If players use him three times during a single game, their winnings multiply. Gamers receive their first canon and bald eagle for free, and can purchase additional units with real money.
The Video Bingo Fireworks celebration will end on July 28. Games by GSN and Video Bingo: The 4th in Philly are available to play for free on Facebook.
