The Tribez and Airport City publisher Game Insight has announced the launch of three new games on mobile devices. The airport management and city-building game Sky Adventures is now available on iPad, while city-builder 2020: My Country has come to Windows 8. Finally, seaport management city-builder Sunshine Bay is being readied for release, and will come out on iPad in the very near future.
This isn’t the first expansion of the My Country brand, as 2020: My Country is itself a sequel to the original My Country. The game is already available on iOS and Android, and was announced for the KakaoTalk platform last fall. The game allows players to build a futuristic city complete with customizable buildings, quests to complete, disaster events and more. 2020: My Country is now available on Windows 8 for free.
In Sky Adventures, players take over Pet Airport after a disastrous hurricane. They’re challenged with building homes and businesses for the animals and tourists on the island, while also maintaining and expanding an airline, sending routes of varying lengths and values around the world. The game is available to play for free on Facebook, and is now available for free on iPad.
Sunshine Bay has a similar setup, but with a focus on a seaport, rather than an airline. Where Sky Adventures offered talking animals, Sunshine Bay focuses more on realism, and sees players accepting and sending cruise liners around the world to earn money. In both games, players must build homes to generate passengers for trips, and must balance the use of passengers and other resources like fuel to complete trips, quests and more. The game is now available to play for free on Facebook, and comes to iPad soon.
