Game Insight announces economic strategy game Transport Empire for mobile

Taking a break from its popular line of hidden object and city-building games, mobile and social game company Game Insight has announced the development of Transport Empire for iOS and Android. The game will come first to iPad, and will take players to a Victorian Era of design, as they build a railroad network, steamboats, airships, mines, roads and more to develop frontier cities.

In Transport Empire, players will need to monitor the building of large transportation networks, connecting multiple towns with railway lines as they interact with a cast of unique characters, each with their own story for players to discover.

The game is described as an “economic strategy” experience, as players will not only build their own cities and complete quests, but will need to do so fast enough to stay ahead of their competitors.
