Fortune is reporting this morning that cloud-gaming company Gaikai may be looking for a buyer. The company, led by gaming veteran David Perry, has been a rival to OnLive and has produced a few interesting opportunities for gamers - including the offer to play World of Warcraft on Facebook. The company is reportedly hiring bankers and is looking for "in excess of $500 million". The company has $45 million in funding.

Gaikai has always stated that their goal is to rival the music and movie industry, and the company feels that the biggest difference between those industries right now is the accessibility.
