The Wonderful Adventures of Nils is a classic Swedish children’s story which was originally published in 1907 as Nils Holgerssons underbara resa genom Sverige. The book stars Nils, a naughty boy who redeems himself after being turned into a tomte, or gnome, and having adventures across Sweden.
This story has since been translated into dozens of languages and remade as cartoons, TV shows, and now an app.
The app doesn’t appear to follow the story as closely as it could, but it still looks like a fun read.
