Free Access To The Daily Extended Through 28 February
When The Daily was launched on 2 February, it came with a free 2 week trial subscription. That free trial was extended today; you can now read The Daily iPad app until 28 February.
It looks like the free trial was extended because the new iOS update wasn’t ready yet. The Daily depends on an in-app subscription option that will be coming with iOS4.3.
Update: The new subscription option was announced by Apple a few minutes ago, which suggests that is not why the free trial was extended.
