FoxNews.com Blocked for Navy Personnel
Cmdr. Danny Hernandez, a Navy spokesman, said he was unable to explain why access to Fox News’ Web site had been blocked for several hours this morning, with service restored just before NoonET.
“This was not a policy issue,” Hernandez said, adding that it was most likely technical in nature.
Fox News received e-mails from Navy personnel around the world complaining that they could not gain access to the site. They said they were able to view numerous other news Web sites.
