Foursquare's 'Nearby Friends' View Returns to iPhone and Blackberry

Ever since Foursquare redesigned its mobile apps in June, the company has been watching its #allnew4sq Twitter hashtag like a hawk to make sure the users like it. Back by popular demand, the Nearby Friends view will once again be available on BlackBerry and iPhone, with an Android version on the way.

Ever since Foursquare redesigned its mobile apps in June, the company has been watching its #allnew4sq Twitter hashtag like a hawk to make sure the users like it. Back by popular demand, the Nearby Friends view will once again be available on BlackBerry and iPhone, with an Android version on the way.

Nearby Friends is a tab that separates your friends who are checking in near your current location from everyone else.  “Some people use foursquare to keep up with all of their friends, but sometimes you just want to know what’s going on in your city,” explained the Foursquare team in a blog post.
