HootSuite has tapped former Yammer executive Dee Anna McPherson to serve as vice president of marketing for the enterprise social media management company.
HootSuite has tapped former Yammer executive Dee Anna McPherson to serve as vice president of marketing for the enterprise social media management company.
McPherson was serving the same role at Yammer when the enterprise social network was acquired by Microsoft for $1.2 billion in 2012. During her tenure, the company saw a 300 percent annual growth.
“HootSuite is a great fit for McPherson,” HootSuite stated, “who played a significant role in establishing Enterprise Social Networking as a new category of business software.”
