Former Omgpop exec Wilson Kriegel leaves Zynga

Inside Social Games can confirm that former Omgpop chief revenue officer Wilson Kriegel has left his position at Zynga.

Kriegel joined Zynga back in March when the social gaming giant acquired Omgpop for $180 million. The company is the developer behind the hit mobile title Draw Something.

Today’s news is the latest in a growing list of high profile departures from Zynga’s ranks. In early August John Schappert left his role as Zynga’s COO and his position on the company’s board of directors.
