In response to the lack of an official iPad Instagram client, Codegent has created one of its own. Flow for Instagram is now available on iPad, and gives users a way to browse and explore Instagram photos in an experience specifically crafted for the iPad’s larger display.

Flow for Instagram supports viewing both photos and videos, and allows users to like and comment on items from friends, as well as bookmark interesting users and locations for easier browsing later on. When browsing content, users can share images or videos to Facebook or Twitter, or can save content to their camera roll.

The app’s “Peek” feature allows users to tap on the profile photo or username of an account, as well as hashtags to reveal a mini feed of content, related either to that specific account, or offering previews of additional photos with that particular hashtag.

Flow for Instagram supports other Instagram functionality, including searching for usernames, places or hashtags, and even supports video playback using airplay. An exclusive feature allows users to browse charts of the platform’s most popular users and browse shops, based on country.

Flow for Instagram is now available to download for free on iPad. Check back soon to follow the app on AppData, our tracking service for mobile and social apps and developers.
