Wishabi has announced the launch of its Flipp digital flyer app on Android devices. Previously released on iOS, the Flipp platform allows mobile users to browse local retail flyers and weekly advertisements from stores including Target, Macy’s, Sports Authority and Dollar General. In doing so, users can more easily find sales, compare items among stores and create shopping lists in a single app.

Flipp offers a search function for finding particular stores, items or brand names, and allows users to “clip” items from individual ads, placing them on their shopping list. Users can add individual stores to their “favorites” list, and use a discount slider to find the best deals across stores.

As users browse flyers, they can view details on specific items, reading product reviews or product descriptions, and can share items with others via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, email or text message.

Flipp is available in both the US and Canada, with Wishabi offering over 190 store flyers for the US and 80 store flyers in Canada on its platform. While the app is similar to other mobile shopping apps, Flipp has proven to be quite popular among shoppers. The app has reached the No. 1 spot in the “Catalog” category in both the US and Canada, with users spending (on average) over 15 minutes in the app per session, visiting 3-4 times per day.

“Flipp is receiving exceptional reviews and users are telling us that Flipp is changing the way they shop.  Countless consumers have been asking for Flipp on Android, so this launch will only add to the great momentum we are seeing as we give people the innovative shopping experience they want,” said Wehuns Tan, CEO of Wishabi.

“We have seen very high levels of engagement on Flipp, which is great news for retailers. Flipp is an important part of a mobile-first approach, as retailers are looking to connect with consumers in a meaningful way in this digital age.”

Flipp is now available to download for free on iOS, Google Play and the Amazon App Store. Check back soon to follow the app on AppData, our tracking platform for mobile and social apps and developers.
