Flayk has announced the launch of its family management app on iOS and Android devices. The app allows users to coordinate the lives of multiple members in a family or group, even if they live in different locations.
The Flayk app offers a shared calendar and sharable to-do lists, so each family member can keep track of other users’ schedules. When users run into schedule conflicts or unexpected delays and issues (like car trouble, as an example), they can ‘flayk’ an upcoming event to alert other group members to the trouble, so someone else can complete the task instead.
Flayk is available in basic (free) and premium versions. For a limited time, users can try the premium version of Flayk for free for the first month, with the normal price being $1.99 per month or $18.99 per year.
In a statement, Mike Seeger, founder of Flayk, commented:
I wanted to create something that would take you above and beyond group texting, sticky notes and calendar magnets on the fridge, because in today’s fast-paced world, families need solutions that respond in real time. A few years ago, I started thinking that everyone can use a little help keeping it all together, and the idea for Flayk was born.
