Facebook wants its users to find five-star accommodations and other places, as the social network is apparently testing the use of the five-star ratings system, which allows users to rate applications, for places.
Ryan Plant alerted sister blog Inside Facebook about the test, in which some users are seeing a module in their sidebars titled “rate these places,” with the option of assigning one star through five stars to places where they have checked in.
Facebook also added the five-star ratings system to its recently introduced mobile app install ads.
Readers: Have you seen the “rate these places” module on your sidebars.
