Fire Up iTunes to Find App Deals for the Long Weekend
As those of us in the U.S. prepare for the three day Memorial Day weekend, you may notice a lot more activity in Apple’s top charts for paid and free apps. The reason is that many app vendors have either lowered prices for their apps or even made them free for part of or all of the long weekend.
Plants vs. Zombies HD for the iPad, for example, is on sale for $1.99 (normally $6.99). The popular third party Facebook app for the iPad, MyPad+ for Facebook, is 99 cents (50% discount).
