Israeli hotel chain Fattal Hotels combined the historic Passover tradition of hiding the afikoman with the modern photo-sharing capabilities of Instagram for its “Fattal’s Afikoman Treasure Hunt” campaign.
Ad agency Ecaliptoos created the campaign for Fattal, using Instagram’s photo-tagging features to incorporate hundreds of pictures from the hotels into the hunt.
Ecaliptoos said users spent an average of five minutes on Fattal’s Instagram profile due to the campaign.
